TODAY IS THE 1ST OF APRIL. DAY 17 OF OUR QUARANTINE.

Today is  APRIL'S FOOL DAY in the U.K and other countries in Europe. What does this mean? This means that you can play PRANKS on your friends. (Este día es como El Día de lo Inocentes, en España). Click on the picture for a little surprise........

First of all, here are the answers for yesterday's listening


  1. Molly asks for orange juice (and latter on, a banana)
  2. They eat at half past twelve.
  3. They choose two different "take away" types of food: chinese and indian.
  4. Mum asks for cheese, milk, meat, past , vegetables and bread.
  5. Roast beef is a type of main course(plato principal) made with cow meat. Apple crumble is a dessert (postre) made with apples, oats (avena), sugar and butter. Yorkshire pudding is a type of bread and custard is a creamy and sweet sauce (algo parecido a las natillas)
2.Here are the grammar corrections. Please, if you still don't understand them, you will have to tell me!.

1. ENGLISH: Listening.
Today you will learn about kids in the U.K(United Kingdom) and school.

Read these questions, watch the video, copy the questions in your notebook (this will help as practice for you make really good  questions in the future) and answer them.


  1. How old is Jamie?
  2. What is a lollipop lady?
  3. When does school start?
  4. What comes after  art lesson?
  5. Where does Jamie eat? At what time?
  6. When does school finish?

2: ENGLISH:  Reading comprehension. "The food of the gods".
  • Copy the nine VOCABULARY WORDS and their TRANSLATIIONS.
  • Read page 31 again and answer the questions. The last one is a research (investigación) question.


3. SOCIAL SCIENCE: Rivers.

Look at page 24 and do a copy of Europe and ALL its rivers (in the book)

(Just in case you have a printer, leave a blind map (mapa mudo) here so you only have to write the names of the rivers.)
