In your science notebooks, I want you to place your notebook horizontally , write the date and the title:
HISTORY. MODERN SPAIN: XIX CENTURY.
Draw a time line including PREHISTORY, (Paleolithic, Neolithic, Metal Ages), ANCIENT HISTORY, MIDDLE AGES, MODERN ERA.
- Include the date it started and the date it finished.
- Place the following events in the correct period and write the year they happened in:
- Invention of writing,
- Cleopatra's death to the bite of an aspid (snake)
- Alexander, the Great conquers Alexandria (this is good for 1st of ESO. So investigate now ;-)).
- The black death, The French Revolution.
- The beginning of the reconquest of Spain in Asturias, by Don Pelayo.
- The end of the Roman Empire.
- The Magna Carta is signed in England.
- The discovery of America / end of the Reconquest in Spain.
