1. The materials you need to make an electromagnet are

  • a magnet.
  • a  size d battery
  • copper wire.
  • an iron nail. (or small metal objects)
2. The wire must be copper (cobre).
3. The nail or click or needle (aguja) needs to be made of iron (hierro).

  3. If you look at the picture of the electric bell, in what stage (1,2,3 or 4) does the bell make a sound?
  4. What does MAGLEV stand for (what does it mean?). Tip: three words.
  5. Why does the train LEVITATE?
      6.Could you say loudspeakers and microphones work IN AN OPPOSITE WAY? Explain.
